The Top 5 Fall 2022 I’m Looking Forward To

Fall is one of my favorite seasons because it combines all the things I love; cold weather, Halloween, pumpkin spice lattes, and most importantly fall fashions. We are a few days away from the first day of fall, and I am already looking forward to pulling out my boots and chunky sweaters. While it’s nice to pull from our fall staples, it never hurts to add few trendy pieces for the fall season to our wardrobe as well. So, without further ado, here are my top 5 fall 2022 fashion trends that I am looking forward to.

1. Baggy Jeans-

Sometimes it’s nice to switch things up and trade in tight skinny jeans for a loose fit baggy jean. I can see this trend being paired with a chunky cropped sweater or dress it down with a plain t-shirt.

Banana Republic $99
Levi $98

2. Saturated and Fuzzy Knits-

With this trend we get the best of both worlds bright saturated summer hues and plenty of warmth. You cant beat that.

H&M $34
Urban Outfitters $69

3. Bomber Jackets –

If you remember back in 2016 bomber jackets had us in a chokehold, especially the olive green one. Now in 2022, I think its safe to say they will once again have us in a chokehold once again… with a twist. This year the bomber jacket is back, but it has more of a bulkier and longer look to it.

Gap $89

4. Trench Coats

I view trench coats as a closet staple so for them to be trending this fall makes sense. With this trend, you can take either a classic approach to the trench look or a more dramatic approach as you can see in the examples below.

Old Navy $85
Fashion Nova $90

5. Square Toed Loafers

I have always loved loafers and I’m so glad they are here to stay for a while. I personally love the square toed look because it is classic and feminine. Whether it is a traditional flat or heeled squared toed loafers will be a staple in my wardrobe this fall.

ASOS $27

So, there you have it, these are the top 5 fall fashion trends I am looking forward to. In the comments below let me know what trends you are looking forward to, and as always thanks for reading.
